Omi is a bit a of a celebrity within the vampire world. In her day she was a champion young acrobatic flyer and is an aspirational figure for young vampires. Both are keen jazz enthusiasts. They are puzzled by Dad’s choice of a fairy partner because it’s quite an impressive skill to combine the daytime fairy life and the vampire night life.
